The number of attendees and proxies were sufficient for a quorum.
Jim then explained the special meeting was called because he and his partner decided to sell the top lots as one piece and end any further development. This required that the declarant board of Jim Whitticom - President, Pat Whitticom= vice President, and Keith Jacobsen=Secretary/Treasurer resign and new officer were to be voted into office. The only official business of this meeting was to elect new officers. Thanks to everyone for sending in their proxies which allowed us to have a quorum.
Karen Conrad was nominated for president. It was seconded and a voice ballot was taken and she was unanimously elected.
Mike William was nominated for Vice President. It was seconded and a voice ballot was taken and he was unanimously elected.
Carla Crippen was nominated for Secretary Treasure. It was seconded and a voice ballot was taken and she was unanimously elected.
Thanks to each of the candidates for offering to take the various officer positions Mike Williams also agreed to take Jim’s place on the architectural committee which also has Dan Daneff, Kelly Crippen and architect Christine Par.
Jim brought the members up to speed on Eagle View's work to amend filing 2 which will add the planned but not platted open space to the subdivision which includes the walking trail above and easement to provide access. The County Planning and Building section has agreed it would be good for the subdivision to keep the steep areas protected with open space, provide access to the walking trail and would keep more water with the HOA. The amendment will be presented at the County Commissioners Meeting on October 7th. If approved then each of the owners of filing 2 will need to approve the change by signing the amended document. The HOA will be responsible for obtaining the signatures from each of the owners who bought filing 2 lots. Filing 2 are lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10, 43, 44, and 45.
It was also decided the new board would meet soon and decide on a HOA meeting time later this fall.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:30pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Pat Whitticom acting Secretary
