Annual Meeting 5/1/2015

Eagle Heights Home Owners Association Annual Meeting May 1, 2015 Meeting was held at the real Estate Store, 500 Main Street Montrose, Colorado, 81401. Meeting was called to order at 4 PM by Jim Whitticom.

  1. Present were: Betty Pixler – lot 27, Joyce and Robert Smith – lot 22, Carla and Kelly Crippin – lot 24, Desarae Jones -lot 2, Jon and Michelle Klippert – lot 14, Hillary Kasendieck –lot 3, Merrill and Evelyn Kaufman –lot 25, Diane and Jim Bass –lot 13.

  2. Attendees acknowledged receipt of the notice of the meeting and Jim certified that non attending owners were notified of the meeting.

  3. Minutes of the last meeting were approved.

  4. There were no officer reports and no committee reports.

  5. Board members of the HOA are Jim Whitticom- President, Pat Whitticom- Vice President and Keith Jacobsen- Secretary/Treasurer.

  6. There was no unfinished business.

  7. NewBusiness A. Officers of the HOA remain unchanged: Jim Whitticom-President, Pat Whitticom Vice President, and Keith Jacobsen Secretary/Treasurer. B. 2014 HOA expenditures were reviewed. Besides the regular maintenance, sealing the cracks in the road pavement was accomplished. Shrubs and trees which had died were replaced near the waterfall and entrance. C. 2014 budget was explained. D. 2014 assessment will remain at $400. An additional special assessment of $50 was voted on and approved by majority to build a sufficient reserve for unforeseen expenses such as the flood damage incurred in 2011.

  8. Open discussion ensued: A. Jim reminded everyone that the covenants require each lot to have a 2 inch isolation valve on their irrigation lines.


B. Jim asked owners who as yet do not have an address stone on their lots to mark where they would like the stone placed. The stones will be placed later in the summer. C. Merrill suggested putting a solar spotlight on the address stones to make them easier to see at night. D. There was discussion about the condition on the county road in front of the subdivision. Merrill volunteered to write a letter to the county asking them to repair it. Respectfully submitted, Pat Whitticom, acting Secretary
